Our team of lawyers, each with his own distinct practice areas, are all experts in their respective fields. They met as colleagues working in one of the largest law firm in the country and have since gone on to further develop their practice.

Before founding SKY Law, Mr. Kua was a lawyer in Angara Abello Concepcion Regala and Cruz, one of the biggest law firms in the Philippines, handling the labor issues and concerns of some of the largest multinational companies in the country.
Mr. Kua took up his undergraduate studies in the University of the Philippines School of Economics where he graduated magna cum laude. Thereafter, he took up his law studies in the same University where he represented the Philippines in the Stetson International Moot Court Competition and led the Philippine team to become the East Asian Champions.

Before founding SKY Law, Mr. Sy was a Senior Associate in Angara Abello Concepcion Regala and Cruz. He obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the Ateneo de Manila University in 2013. He served as President of the Teehankee Center for the Rule of Law from 2012 until 2013. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Management, Major in Legal Management, with Minors in Chinese Studies and International Business from the same university in 2009. Mr. Sy is a licensed real estate broker, and was admited to the Philippine Bar in 2014.

Before founding SKY Law, Mr. Yeung was a senior associate in Angara Abello Concepcion Regala and Cruz, one of the largest law firms in the Philippines. He obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of the Philippines in 2009. He also graduated cum laude from the same university, with a Bachelors Degree in English Studies. He was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2010.

Mr. Uy previously worked as in-house legal counsel for one of the largest banks in the Philippines and was an associate lawyer of ACCRA Law before joining SKY Law.
He is a member of the Law Association for Asia and the Pacific (LAWASIA), the Young Practitioners Group of the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC), and the Makati Chapter of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.
He is also a member of the Operations Committee of the Philippine International Center for Conflict Resolution (PICCR) and a qualified arbitral tribunal secretary of the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC).
Mr. Uy obtained his Juris Doctor degree in 2014 from the University of the Philippines College of Law after completing his Master of Arts in Humanities with Specialization in History (cum laude) and Bachelor of Arts in Humanities (cum laude) from the University of Asia and the Pacific in 2009.
Mr. Uy also teaches at the University of Asia and the Pacific.
